JobbWorks LLC ("JobbWorks," "we," "us," or "our") operates the JobbWorks software platform for contractors and small businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and limited information from third parties as described below.
Account and profile information
- Name, email address, phone number, and business or company name
- Account credentials and security-related information (for example, password hashes)
- Role or account type (such as vendor or customer) and preferences you set in the product
Business and operational data
- Jobs, schedules, estimates, invoices, and related notes or attachments you choose to store
- Customer or contact records you add (for example, names, addresses, and communication history)
- Payment-related metadata associated with your account (such as transaction status, amounts, and identifiers—we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers)
Usage and technical information
- Device type, browser, operating system, and approximate location derived from IP address
- Log data such as access times, pages or screens viewed, and diagnostic events
- Cookies and similar technologies where we use them for authentication, security, or analytics
Communications
When you contact us (for example, support requests or feedback), we collect the content of those messages and your contact details so we can respond.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and enforce our terms
- Process payments and payouts in connection with features you enable (see Third-party services)
- Send transactional emails and product notifications (for example, invoices, receipts, or account alerts)

- Analyze usage in aggregate or de-identified form to understand how the product is used and to improve reliability and user experience
Third-party services
We rely on trusted service providers to operate the Services. They process information on our behalf according to our instructions and appropriate safeguards. Examples include:
- Stripefor payment processing, including Stripe Connect where applicable. Stripe's use of payment data is governed by Stripe's policies and agreements. We do not act as the card network or merchant of record for your customers' cards in the same way Stripe does.
- Email delivery (such as Brevo or comparable providers) to send operational and marketing messages you have agreed to receive.
- Hosting, databases, and infrastructure providers that store and transmit data for the Services.
- Analytics, if enabled, to measure traffic and product usage in aggregate. Where we use analytics cookies or similar technologies, we aim to configure them consistent with applicable law and your choices.
We may update this list as our subprocessors change. Third-party sites linked from the Services have their own privacy practices; we are not responsible for their content or policies.
Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, we process personal data where we have a legitimate interest (for example, securing the Services and improving the product), where necessary to perform a contract with you, or where you have given consent, as required by law.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- With service providers who assist us under confidentiality and data-processing terms
- With other users of the Services when you choose to share content (for example, sending an estimate or invoice to a customer)

Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting rules), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it in line with our retention schedules, subject to backup and archival systems that may retain copies for a limited period.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and to protect your account credentials.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, such as requesting disclosure of categories of personal information collected and, in some cases, requesting deletion (subject to exceptions). We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are commonly defined for cross-context behavioral advertising, except as described in this policy if our practices change.

International transfers
If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
